Amy Zamora ’18 is a Math Major at Haverford who assembled a how-to/basic tricks and tips document for newcomers to Mathematica:
Wolfram Mathematica is a very useful piece of software that basically acts as a highly powerful and versatile computer graphing calculator. You don’t need any Texas Instruments junk for Math 118: all you need is a free Haverford license of Mathematica, which can be obtained at this page. In addition, Mathematica is installed on computers in all of the computing labs on campus. Contact David Lippel at dlippel@haverford.edu for questions about getting Mathematica working on your own personal computer, or for troubleshooting.
